A brilliant performance from a brilliant colt! Mishriff made Frankie Dettori's trip to France very worth it so far by impressively winning the Group 2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano. The French Derby winner travelled powerfully and kicked clear of fellow Classic winner Victor Ludorum to win Europe's richest Group 2 in fine style. The son of Make Believe has a plethora of options going forward and John Gosden may have to consider running him in the Arc against his wonder-mare Enable...

Love the way he carries himself in a race - long, low, utterly focused. Looking forward to his progeny.

Mishriff's proven himself to be a very versatile horse already too. Probably likes and will always be a fair bit better on turf, but ran a terrific race his first time ever racing on conventional dirt over in Saudi Arabia in the Saudi Derby. Came flying late down the stretch to pass everyone but the winner for 2nd place.

Looks like he will piss 1m4f all day long - bear in mind the strong finish in the French Derby over 1m2.5f. Looks a good price for the arc, lightly raced and probably still improving... perhaps Gosden does have the arc winner after all but unfortunately, it may not be Enable...

Versatile on any ground this horse is a serious contender for the Arc de triomphe if connection decided to go for it.

@Rodney McKee for sure A P O Brien would run his cavalry as always.have you seen the 2017 st leger won by capri.O Brien run about 4 or 5 horses on that race which run at a frantic pace Stradivarius come at the last 2F cruising but when they quickened up he doesn’t have that turn of foot to match the winner, at the end he was past by crystal ocean for second.and the distance of that race was 1m6f 16/1 wasn’t a value at all considered the placing only first to three.i would rather back japan e/w at 40/1 if you forget his last run because that one was to good to be true. The only problem is this year his not getting any weight advantage against enable.if he cannot beat enable with his weight allowance last year what is his chance this year. For me I think the form of the french oaks is working very well, so I’m not gonna be surprised if this year winner will come from that race.

I would go arch with him to be honest, he looks like 1.4m horse despite winning in distance.

I'd save him for the champion stakes Ascot, he'll take some beating,

WINX from Australia d v beaten all of them! AND Frakie Dettori knows it too!! When all the English trainers kept telling Winx's trainer to bring her to England, easy going Chris Waller, Winx's trainer finally had a GUTFULL! And told 1 loud Mouth U.k trainer it's no further from Australia to England than it is from England too Australia!!🤔 so? In the end a Pome trainer DID bring the best middle distance Horse the uk had to Australia who Winx flogged!! AND to Add insult to injury, the same trainer stayed in Australia for Winxs 4th attempt to win her 4th straight Cox plate win!! He told Chris Waller it d never been done before, and Winx had no chance at all!! But!! IFFFF Winx did win her 4th straight Cox plate, he's Kiss Wallers. feet!! Well???? Winx not only won with ridiculous ease!! The by then red faced UK Got down and kissed Wallers feet!! AND in all 4 of her Cox plate wins; there wasn't a spot of foam on her back after all 4 of her Wins!! Kingston town won 3 straight Cox plates, but, all 3 of the jockeys who ride Kingston town in his 3 wins, ALL admitted Winx was a far better horse and was at least 3 lengths FASTER than KT Over any distances!! NOT JUST 2000 Or, 10 furlongs!! All that said...ALL OF THE TOP 6 MIDDLE DISTANCE CHAMPIONS IN THE WORLD TODAY!! ALL DESERVE TO BE GIVEN THEIR CREDIT!!
