How can you have the same character with the same clothes do different poses though I try to think, but can't come up with a solution for this. I thought about img2img and inpainting but that does not work, because obv. clothing can change or hairstyles. When inpainting, the clothing can still change and if you don't inpaint enough, then obviously the pose won't change.
Know of any tricks?

Good video, my opinion on Novel AI is: pretty good on generating anime characters but it's not free, also the free trial won't let you do anything except generating stories, that's it
