More AS Level Maths Mechanics exam questions on kinematics, involving variable acceleration, velocity and displacement, from aqa, Edexcel and OCR MEI; perfect revision and exam practice for A Level Maths year 1!

Variable Acceleration questions involve using integration and differentiation to find the equations of motion for a moving particle.

If given an expression, in terms of t, for displacement, then velocity (being the rate of change of displacement over time) is found by differentiating the displacement expression.

Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity, do is the derivative of velocity.

Use integration to go from acceleration to velocity, and from velocity to displacement and don't forget the + c !
