Join this Englishman as he walks down Khreshchatyk Street. Khreshchatyk is the main street of Kyiv, Ukraine. The street has a length of 1.2 kilometers. It stretches from the European Square through the Maidan and to Bessarabska Square where the Besarabsky Market is located. Walk with me while I explore this incredibly busy street on a very cold bleak icy day. A real contrast to how this street is in peak summer.

Yes this Yuna craft-beer bar inside the market is real nice. There are very few places where you can get a high quality and still cheap beer today in the world. This is the place to be. Probably the best (for sure not the biggest and that´s nice) place in town.

Great video mate (and I have watched nearly all of them). I tried to get to Ukraine in September and November but flights were cancelled at last minute from Dublin. Having lived in Ukraine for 10 months in 2018 its amazing to see Kiev again! How did you get in and did you have to self quarantine?

Bizarrely, I never knew that food market was there, despite walking past the front of it dozens of times. Woman was a bit arsey, but i'll still give the beer place a whirl on the next visit. That is if I can afford it to go again, because according to the covid19 timeline, i'll be out of a job in 10 days :D

I am Ukrainian, it is a shame . There is no direct legal prohibition to shoot video in public places. You are vlogger or journalist you have a complete right to show public places. It is guaranteed by constitution. I would call police if I were you and find a proper article in Ukrainian constitution to show them .

I agree that it's a shame that filming is prohibited in Besarabsky Market because it's thanks to the youtube vlogs that I want to go there and buy my stuff when I will relocate in Ukraine .I must add that all other youtubers who filmed had to hide their camera .
