can not even fathom how hard it would be to lose your husband to suicide and then deal with the whole world calling you the reason. she is so strong.

Why do people always blame the other woman why not the guy who cheated on his wife?

i think gen z knows the actual "Rekha" than the people of her own generation.

Edit: idk where did i said anything bad about other generations. I never said gen z is better. We too got a bunch of flaws but i see a brighter future because I see my friends truly enthusiastic and willing to learn and better themselves in every way possible.

I think it’s sad that she never got the love and respect that she craved so desperately. Unfortunately, she always went for men who were unavailable or undeserving. I do admire her ability to move forward with her head held high.

I guess that's why Jaya bacchan is always so arrogant with the media all the time... because as soon she gives them liberty to ask questions they will ask about Rekha and Amit ji😂

She deserves two things. 1. Applause for her modesty 2. Apologies for 12:58

Its so sad to see people talking bad about her. She is an icon and inspiration because of how despite all hate she always held her head high and keeps going. I don’t get why people never blame the men for their behaviour… Rekha is so graceful to not reveal the ugly face of these men who did her bad. She never cry victim.

Can you make a story about downfall of himesh reshammiya? He seems to have similiar story as that of rekha. He was also popular and sucessful, but due to ego issues and controversies he was slashed. And now he faces trolling and harassment by people.

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan got married in 1973 after their brief romantic affair while Amitabh and Rekha's first movie came in 1974. Rekha in her words had said, she knew Amitabh as didibhai's (she knew Jaya before Amitabh) husband. Why does the current generation conveniently leave out this fact that Amitabh was already married when he met Rekha? This is done to justify their extramarital afair.

Now i can accept it without any doubt that she wears mangalsutra and sindur for her own happiness not for Amitabh bachhan...😢

You missed the part of Navin Nischal . I heard that he used her and threw her.. She was so young and innocent at that time... That actor literally destroyed her..

Gemini Ganesan was a legend and one of the biggest names of Tamil cinema. Pushpavalli was an actress who predominently worked in Telugu and Tamil films. Both of them were in a relationship but were never officially married because they were married to different people at that time. Ganesan was married to his first wife Alamelu while Pushpavalli was still married to a Lawyer named I V Rangachari, though they were living apart. Pushpavalli and Ganesan had two daughters Bollywood actress Rekha and Radha, who briefly worked in Tamil movies before marrying and moving to the United States. Ganesan never acknowledged paternity of the girls for several years and was never the father figure that Rekha craved for.

Ironic how men and women together (including her parents)at that time exploited her, broke her, criticised her, blamed her but none stood beside her and empathized. That generation was seriously sh*tty, consent concept is still very vauge in society and she seriously got sexually harassed by a 30 year old man on set and nobody uttered a word. She tried to pick herself up despite all the bad things her way even though she didn't have anyone beside her. Yes she did some wrong things and I don't think she denies those or doesn't realise but seriously people throw stones at things that shine. She deserved empathy, understanding and way better people in her life. She's a strong woman, I love her.
