its such a small portion of her story but the implications of the fact that marceline was born before the mushroom war drives me INSANE. like...she couldn't have possibly been able to live a normal life, even back then, because she obviously wasn't completely human at a time when most everyone didn't believe that could even be POSSIBLE. did she ever go to school? did she ever see a doctor? I doubt she was born in a hospital--did she have any official records at all? I'd do literally ANYTHING to see more of elise's story and how the hell she got herself into all this in the first place.
