You should definitely do a series on the Napoleonic Wars videos from epic history tv, they are their best videos :) If you like history you'll love it. I wasn't a napoleonic history person, now im fully converted xD

There is so much misunderstanding of the theology of indulgences, here is a black legend about Catholicism. Indulgences do not forgive you mortal or venial sins, you must have confession before a priest in the sacrament of reconciliation, what it does is that it eliminates the temporal penalties of mortal and venial sin.
The Church is not semi-Pelagian as many claim, all the merit of salvation belongs to God as a gift, but if someone is lost it is only man's fault, that is, it does not believe in double predestination.

But he also does not believe that salvation is simply imputation, but that there is true Internal transformation and you can lose justification (not just a legal decree), and believes that once you receive the Holy Spirit, the acts are meritorious because it is God working through you, and not yourself with your own simple impulse.
