Almost 100 years since they debuted and still going strong. Greatest comedy team ever.

The Stooges that weren’t mentioned:

Curly Howard (they left HIM out?!?) died after a series of strokes on January 18, 1952 at the age of 48.

Joe Besser died of heart failure on March 1, 1988 at the age of 80.

Curly Joe DeRita died of pneumonia on July 3, 1993 at the age of 83.

I was fortunate to have my picture taken with Moe, Larry, and Joe DiRita when I was 7yrs old. I am 70 now, and still love watching them on tv. Moe and Larry talked to me for a little bit, they made me so happy that day! I hope and pray they are all resting in peace! Thanks for all laughs, and giggles.

The AI guy said the Mow passed away at 77, and at the same time, he's saying this. In the background, you can see the newspaper headline saying he was 78. Lol!!

These three stooges loved by millions of fans
'because of their styles in comedy. For me they are the best.So sad people come and go, like our idol "Three Stooges".It takes year or hundred year before we have the same characters in there difference dimension.

Stooges have never been eclipsed. They remain the funniest mothers to ever live. Their legacy is quite safe. They left a timeless body of work.

Iconic comedy group. I grew up watching them on TV in the 1960s and as a kid would mimic their slapstick. The real shame is that they didn't get royalties for most of their work. They are still on TV today. Kids still laugh at their antics.

I'm 68 and I still love these men. They made me laugh a lot as a kid. Without the Stooges, there would be no Columbia Studio.😅

In 6th grade my teacher had a pop quiz and asked how many members the 3 stooges had. I answered 5. Larry, Moe, Curly, Joe and Shemp. She said that in all the years she's been teaching, no one has ever answered any more than 3 or came close to naming them and i did both. I told my kids about this and years later my son had her as his teacher, she still asked that same question. He already knew the answer and got it right. She said she only had 1 other student ever get it right. My son said, it was my mother. I've heard this story for years.

I know a guy who's a diehard Stooges fan. Back in the late 60s and early 70s, he wrote a bunch of fan letters to Moe and Larry. He has all these signed posters and photos they sent back to him. Apparently, they were still answering fanmail late in life.
