Hello from Oklahoma! Good Video! Once again, bringing back a flood of memories. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless You All!

This is both informative and educational. I try and support the rescues in the United States for the wonderful draft horses (I do not have the correct terminology) that are rescued from slaughter and have useful years to give from light work to riding to pets.

Fabulous how your horses are standing while two skid steers are loading simultaneously. Old pictures of logging in the Northwest or in Minnesota show that huge loads were moved with horses, it all depended on how many and which technology they used, for example carts with huge wheels or respectively iced tracks in winter.

The obvious answer to the title question is yes. Nevertheless, those teams are amazingly strong!

I've never really been around horses. I had a neighbor that would let their pony into our yard to graze- they owned 3 properties around theirs so we shared a garden and all. He was a great, fun pony. Loved to play with us. The training you put into these horses is seriously impressive. I've never seen working horses. Mostly rescue channels on YouTube. Kudos to you all!

I was at the draft show and pulls in Okc a few years back... some of those guys there were just massive, 4 ft easy across the chest and built, tons of bone. Gotta say tho, saw some sorry feet! and ton of clips to keep the shoes on those blown out feet. Blows me away. You have a great team there.

I can see how working with animals puts you in touch with the Bible.

It's impressive that these magazines are no joke. Theoretically, they can be loaded with horses?

Have you ever used a horse chiropractor for them? I have heard big draft horses like this can have their backs thrown out of alignment more often because of all the heavy pulling they do.

Not to be one of those people, 1:17 but the internet tells me green oak is more like 60 pounds per cubic foot, which would be 5 pounds per board foot. But maybe I’m wrong, where did your numbers come from?

I sure hope these poor horses get proper time off to rest and also get regular vet visits ... 😣

You should invest in your own saw mill

One thing i really hope is that when these horses are too old to work you will give them a good retirement and don't take them to the slaughter house😢

I would be scared to death that one of those logs would roll wrong and kill my horses😱

Yes, but not to test the boundary and capability of the animals. I don't want to be a niegh sayer.
