I'm not religious and don't believe in god - this is an absolute BANGER. It's cool that people of faith love it for the message but I really hope that nobody tries to downplay how good the composition is just because it's about a topic they're uncomfortable with. I'm a 90's baby through and through and nobody was easier to make fun of than Creed, but a quarter century later everyone knows damn well they absolutely killed it. If we can listen to songs about murder and drug use and sleep with a clean conscience - and I have listened to a lot of songs about murder and drug use - then we can listen to a christian song and love the sound. And yes - I know this is 99% a staged interaction, it's still an awesome one-minute music video.
