Both great phones. I had some RAM management issues on iOS 15.2 but these have been fixed on the latest beta of 15.3. Hopefully with some optimisation the Xiaomi improves but I do worry that the SD8G1 made by Samsung is prone to overheating and will need to be power throttled.

Loading is faster in iphone because its using NVME storage... Xiaomi has done good in terms of that with UFS 3.1

Both SD8G1 and A15 is great, but SD8G1 maybe a little bit better but overheat, throttled. It needs to be more optimized. 12 Pro is the half price of iP 13 Pro Max,

Go for Redmi my suggestion because I'm using Redmi K20 pro from 3 years till i didn't face any issues related to battery and performance, so now I need to change from K20 to Redmi 5G mobile

In fact if you want to buy an high-end Android smartphone, do it 6 months or even a year after its release:

1 - you will have it much cheaper but with hardware at the same level as the last iphone or even the next one.

2 - it will be optimized both by the manufacturer and by the application developers.
