Was the most common Ford V8 in Australia, in both 302 Cleveland and 351 Cleveland, cast at the Geelong Casting Centre Australia from 1971 for 72 falcons and F100 to F350s was in production untill 1986 in F trucks and 1983/4 in Falcons, LTDs, Coups, Utes, Vans, wagons, Failanes, fairmonts, D series Trucks . Even upmarket Ford Taxis got a 302 Cleveland or 351 if you were Lucky. The 302 Cleveland is the best factory Cleveland heads, closed chamber, 2V sized ports even though they all came with four barrel Carter Thermoquad carbies. Put US 4V valves in them blend the port bowl and short turn radius and they flow very very well, plus just putting a set of 302 C heads on a smog dish piston 351 C gives you 10.5 to 1 compression, a set of 302 Cleveland heads would bolt directly on a ford 400, match perfectly to the factory intake and give you north of 10.8 to 1 compression on a smog 400. That would wake it up, any Australian wrecking yard will have plenty of used sets . About $150/200 used and $120 freight to US about $170-210 US dollars to your door in US . Email an aussie yard .

Try and pump the gas one time first, it’s not fuel injection. Awesome motor I love the 4v Cleveland

Looks line that motor is resting ‘tween the fenders of a 71-73 Cougar. I had a 71 XR7. Looked like that one is the same color mine was.
