When Ahsoka said, "It takes me back to a much simpler time." I really felt that. Everyone changes over the years, but looking back to when Clone Wars came out, when I was ten... I can't recognize that kid in the photos anymore. People say nostalgia is a cheap copout, but its what keeps me going.

Ashoka is such an overlooked character

Darth Vader's story is honestly one of the best ever written; be it on page or the cinema. And I love how there is a story of someone who knew Anakin and bonded with him much like he had one as a Padawan with Obi-Wan. Everything Ahsoka knew was because of Anakin's training, and she always had hope that in the darkest of times, he would never abandon her. Upon learning that her master was now the Dark Lord of the Sith who brought death and suffering to untold billions, Ahsoka now carries the guilt that maybe if she had stayed, she could have helped him. Anakin and Ahsoka brought out the best of each other, and with her gone and Padme facing the likelihood of dying and the probability of the Order casting Anakin out for loving her, all Anakin had was Darth Sidious.

The thing I find powerful about the chorus is that it can also be interpreted the other way round, from Anakin’s perspective thinking about Ahsoka.

“Sometimes all I think about is you, and how you changed on us like a shi’do.”
When she returned in Season 7, she had changed completely and she acted more like a matured soldier than Anakin’s best friend.

“We were close but you gave it all up”
When she gave up her role as a Jedi and left the order and Anakin behind in season 5.

“Tore the galaxy apart for love.”
Although there were many other reasons why Anakin fell to the dark side, one of the main reasons was because the Jedi refused to stand by Ahsoka even when she was innocent, making her feel unworthy and causing her to leave. This fuelled Anakin’s rage towards the Jedi even more and led him to become Darth Vader and therefore tearing the galaxy apart.

Don’t know if this was intended, but I love the fact that this can be understood from both Anakin and Ahsoka’s perspectives.

When she says she's seen emotions change Jedi, Anakin wasn't the first Jedi she saw change. Barriss' emotions changed when she realised the Jedi had lost their way by participating in the Clone Wars.

I love the voice you gave Ashoka and how you made Ashoka and anakins relation so much more meaningful and the way you had Ashoka talk about anakin it sounds like she had feelings for him and I fucking love it
