Landscape Photography: Foggy Forests with 50mm Lens Experiment

Today, after few fails I'm succeeding in photographing a foggy forest with the 50mm lens. It's a good challenge, an interesting experiment and here is the result!

I think you have done a great job promoting non-traditional landscape lenses. I often use larger focal lengths in landscape photography to compress the image, mostly to enlarge background subjects. A 50mm does a great job with this. Keep up the great content.

Excellent photography and great tips! It would be cool if you included the settings you used for each photo. For someone who is a beginner this would be very helpful to kind of get a sense at where I need everything.

How did you film yourself from high up the trees ??

Hí did you use dof cal. Át 50 mm lamdscape. Át f8 and f11 you can stand min. 11m from focus pont át f8.

Yes I believe this to be my favourite subject too = making foggy photos of trees. I will try with the 50 mm lens next time I am lucky enough to have fog where I am. Your photos are inspiring. This particular music with the video adds to the enchanted forest feel. Thank you!
