So I’ve always had this Idea for onno and I know someone else said sort of the same in the comments but my idea was that he should be able to say a sound effect than It would happen, for example he could go up to a car and make the crashing sound affect and it would crash. That’s the idea but I have a full storyline for this virson if anyone is interested. The story starts with Batman doing his dayly runs of the city, and comes across a murder. Somone is lying on the ground seemingly shot but there are no bullets. There are two guns with her but they also have no bullets in them. These guns have no prints either. Batman is confused but still needs to pretext the city. In the ext few nights strange things start to happen like glass shattering and barrels exploding at seemingly random. He is starting to make mistakes because of this too. He somehow gets a lead on how this is happening and starts the interaction on a roof but the person is suddenly struck in the head by a gunshot but, no bullet he looks over and sees a man running away (he doesn’t know who he is but it’s onno) Batman starts to chase but his cape rips in middair and crashes to the ground. He looks at the crime scene and sees not a single bullet or trace of the fight. He than goes and does research on him and finds out it’s onnomonopea (onno) and learns that there’s barely any info on him other than the villain name and that he’s killed many vigilantes. Batman goes on the prowl and somehow finds onno and in the fight realizes onnos powers and that he’s just been saying bang and the guns shoot anyway. In the fight onno uses full advantage but is eventually taken down by Batman the end (lmk how the story is btw)

My theory is that he is Autistic and has a condition called Echolalia in which they repeat phrases and sounds. I think he is similar to Ben Afflecks character in the Accountant in terms of his marksmanship, and fighting skills.

The title Cacophony furthers my theory as they are sensitive to auditory chaos. His power isnt immitating sounds but rather a calming action known as stimming.

Kevin smith has some shit writing and I honestly feel like he lacks a lot understanding in the characters he’s writing. One small example, when batman is talking to himself he refers himself as “Bruce.” I don’t think I need to explain in detail why that’s flawed
