My cousin found a ballad blues CD floating in a river in my little town in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, and gave it to me. I had it until recently. Then my brother bought a magazine and got a CD by a Jazz Big Band. it's been about 25 years... I was learning to play Bossa Nova on my old guitar, with friends. I studied at night, worked for my father in the morning, bathed in the river in the afternoon, discussing soccer, politics, God and laughing a lot. It was a good time, I always remember that when I listen to these songs. A calmer, more melancholy self.

I like to listen to this type of music after I have rough a day, it's nice to sit and reflect with the aid of a smoke and a drink of something.
