Quick answer is the rise of war within the clans themselves, if crime goes up people tend to leave, they migrate to safer locations, one good example is Detroit, it's falling apart because people have left such locations .

God destroyed it because he was angry with Nimrod for shooting an arrow at him, and thinking he could actually kill him. So he scattered the people.

I never knew the reason for the creation of the city of Babylon, but now I see it from a different perspective. It seems that the people were afraid that God would bring another flood, similar to the one from the story of Cain and Abel. In that story, God tried to protect Cain by marking his forehead. This act of protection seemed to have motivated Cain to create his own city and start his own family. It's interesting to think that the society we live in today operates similarly, with fear driving people to seek power by any means necessary to protect themselves. This fear often leads people to think in radical or unconventional ways.

Them Semitic folks love that they survived Babylon, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Egyptians, Rome, and they're still the best lawyers - hence the Babylonian Talmud, then the Jerusalem, as that's where law comes from, the Hammurabi Code.
Anywho. . .

Confused maybe but I’m sure they would have gathered after not so many years of acquiring translators and even learning again the one language! Which probably only one party would have been left with..But it was a time of separation and they then differed in accents and race

Well the name babylon means "gate of god", and babel comes from the jewish word well, babel. And the people who founded babylon called it "bavil", if i remember correctly.

No one needed god because everyone understood each other and got each other what they needed. God got angry at this so he destroyed it. Than divided everyone into multiple different languages and skin ?
