On the Scene at ASTMH 2015 with Elysse Grossi-Soyster
Показать описание
Stanford researcher Elysse Grossi-Soyster presented results from a study comparing seroprevalence of Rift Valley Fever Virus (RVFV) among community members and slaughterhouse workers in Western Kenya. RVFV is more commonly observed domesticated animals (such as goats, sheep, cattle and camels), but can infect and potentially lead to debilitating illness in humans. In this video interview, Dr. Grossi-Soyster speaks with Rachel Leslie, communications officer for Stanford’s Center for Innovation in Global Health, about her findings.
