Jose Mesa's birthday is May 22. It is also the birthday of David Blatt, whom the Cavs fired on January 22, 2016, and replaced with Tyronn Lue. David Blatt had been a coach in professional basketball for 22 years up to that point.
Jose Mesa finished his career having played in 1022 games.
Larry Nance Jr. was granted permission to wear his father's retired number 22 on February 22, 2018. Nance then set a career high in points in his first start as a Cav, with 22. Nance Jr. averaged 22 minutes per game in two of his three seasons with the Lakers, and he started 22 games in his rookie year. His career 3 point percentage is .224.

The Cavs finished with a .622 winning percentage in 2016-17, the same year they lost to the Warriors for the second time.
Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn were 22 years old when they were drafted by the Browns in 2007. Their rookie year is the last time the Browns had a winning season.
