Did another FPV signal reception test by slow yaw turn at certain distance/altitude to see FPV screen condition and recorded video in MSD.
First checked X8’s antenna position which located in Front Left leg.
My assumption is that right rotation is more affected signal interruption with bottom body compared to left yaw turn in long distance at low altitude – say 500m D, 30m H.

So I tested slow left, right yaw turn in following position with stock antenna and Mod DJI signal booster;
100m D 30m H, 60m H, 120m H
500m D 30m H, 60m H, 120m H

Result was
1. Looks like no difference between stock antenna and Mod signal booster in 500m distance.
2. Although some time FPV screen was not smooth movement during the rotation, 4K 30FPS video seems recorded properly and seems no glitch to my poor eyes.
3. At 500m D, 30m H, it recorded well in both left, right slow yaw turn although FPV signal moved to yellow

It was long test flights so cut the unnecessary portion. Originally intended to insert MSD recorded video after each FPV screen but downgraded to 1080P MSD video showed glitch somehow. So made 2 videos;
A. This video – FPV screen shot with side by side MSD video which shows some glitches.
B. Follow the video – 4K 30FPS MSD video. Recorded in 4K for stock antenna – smooth movement to my poor eyes

Note – Video quality in 4K is not as expected probably need readjustment of style Sat/Con numbers. Also may be CPL full position was not appropriate in slightly cloudy condition.

1:35 105m D, 30m H
Looks slight glitch on FPV but actual 4K is smooth
3:43 MSD video ^ degraded to 1080P. Looks some glitch but separate video on 4K is smooth.
5:46 FPV 105m D, 60m H
7:14 FPV 105m 30 FPV 508m D, 30m H
10:37 FPV 508m D, 60m H
12:20 FPV 508m D, 120m H
13:57 With Mod DJI signal booster and same operation as stock antenna
14:09 Show RC with signal booster

19:44 To avoid houses, moved to left side which resulted bush cut in LOS and made fail safe RTH in slow left yaw turn

22:01 Signal lost and fail safe RTH
22:19 Disable RTH
23:27 Repositioned to 500m D, 60m H
24:40 During the edition, deleted FPV 500m D, 120m H by error so no video here
24:41 Side by side – 1080P downgraded.
Left stock antenna, Right Signal booster 100m D, 30m H.
Looks some glitches due to editing?
Will show MSD video in 4K 30FPS base in following YT which shows smooth movement

But, but... bottom line, what is the conclusion???? Looking at other videos and range testings that some FIMI X80's are "tuned down" and the maximum reach is far less than advertised 5km!
