Love the diversity of Alice’s catalog, and so glad Jerry, Mike and Sean decided to continue making music with William, and playing their classic stuff live. Such an amazing band! I always love Sean’s drumming on Jerry’s songs, his choices are endlessly fascinating.

Jerry Cantrell is the most gifted and truly greatest songwriter out of that legendary 90’s Seattle scene . Just imagine writing almost everything of Facelift and Dirt whilst playing lead guitar and the vocalist still gets the most recognition … most guys would’ve get upset and jealous and leave the band and start a new project in that situation, but Jerry is just too good for that, he knew the combination of him and Layne is something you can’t just quit . Jerry is the man

How much of a legend could you be to be Jerry Cantrell and still feel honoured that the band "allow" him to write the songs...🤯

I moved to Portland Oregon back in the late 1980’s all these future Grunge bands were just the local bar bands and then Nirvana and Pearl Jam took off. For me out of all those bands A.I.C and Jerry Cantrell are my personal favorite. You’ve gotta love the fact that a metal band like Alice makes it during the grunge movement by simply being a local band on the Seattle scene and they just got lumped together. Jerry you are a great artist and thanks for surviving all the craziness🎶

I feel Jerry on not discarding certain riffs and choruses. I've recorded hundreds of really good songs but always feels like something is missing. Hope I get to release them someday

-it's clear that Cantrell's songwriting inspired Staley.. and Staley's vocals... Jerry Cantrell's songwriting took Layne Staley's vocals to a place.. they never reached... apart from Cantrell's music 🎶 🎶 🎵

There are MANY songs on the solo albums that totally could've been AIC songs

The first comment section I've seen for a long time where some div doesn't say "underrated".

Hopefully it's been banished.

I love you, Jerry, but it’s time to let the hair go. Or at least go on medication therapy for androgenic alopecia. It won’t reverse hair loss, but it is extremely effective at stopping it before it gets worse.
Young men reading this, if your father is bald, and you don’t want it to happen to you, ask your primary care physician about medication to prevent hair loss (finasteride, minoxidil). Get on it while you’re young, because once you start losing your hair, nothing short of a hair transplant will bring it back. So many men don’t know about this, and they wish someone told them before it was too late, so that’s why I’m writing this speech here. Thank Jerry Cantrell for prompting me to talk about it. 🤗♥️
