Focus ST Breedt Shift Arm / Boomba Bushings Vs Stock

Just installed a Breedt Shift Arm, Boomba Shifter Cable Bushings, and CJ Pony Parts shift knob into my focus ST! You can see how the Boomba bushings all but eliminate the flex in the cable bracket VS the crappy rubber bushings. The Breedt shift arm is fantastic as well. Everything is short and crisp now. Love it.

Yesterday I installed the Hurst shifter plate and some cable bushings. Made a huge difference, a very mechanical feel too with those cable bushings. I hear theres a debate between the shifter arm like this one, versus the plate that goes over the stock shifter arm. I got my plate cheap, that's why I went with it. But it def takes some getting use to..I find myself nearly putting it in neutral at times. Wish I had done the shifter bits earlier..they're fairly cheap and make a big difference, sort of like the RMM.

About how heavy is that CJ pony shift knob in comparison to the stock one? I can’t find the weight of it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

I installed the boomba short throw shifter. Do you think installing the breedt arm would make a differance in the shifting?

Does it require more effort to push in gear like a shift plate from say cobb would?
