Ha, that's what happened to me yesterday, blown to shreds by the mines. I hit that area at full sprint and was hit twice before I realized what was happening then turned around then hit the third and dead time.

0:51 "just head straight south" and "how helpful compass would be"... cracked me up since you actually were running towards north (at least last patch where we still had the car at "south exit", when one used compass they realized that the car was at north, the big lake that made map horseshoe shape was at south). I get that its confusing because for years BSG gave us both map that was upside down and an exit that seemed to be bottom of the map called "south V-exit" where you needed to play 3000 roubles to get away with a car. If you look for communitymade maps you see that most of them put previously mentioned lake (from the old map area) to the south. Also there is new exit "eastern rocks" which correctly is on east according to compass. I don't blame you for being wrong. It was very confusing when they gave us compass and people checked the directions. For years we got wrong info and previous callouts and locations (if they had compass-directions) are now backwards.
