How should I apply styling products?! 🤔
Umm, this can be different for you, but here’s how I apply these @sugarboocurls products, some of my favs from India! The Leave-in conditioner, and their Citrus & Hibiscus Moisture Hold Gel. 1️⃣ If you have hard water, start with soaking wet hair. Remember, water = hydration! If you have soft water, squeeze excess water out so that styling can work on your damp hair.
2️⃣ Leave ins and creams:
@sugarboocurls; the Leave-in conditioner
Rake leaveins away from the roots. If you have color treated hair or need extra moisture, then follow with hair cream.
You may wish to use a brush at this point or just use your fingers to distribute the leave-in conditioner. I like to finger coil my hair to organize my curls at this point.
3️⃣ Applying your gel with wet palms
If you feel like scrunching or squeezing makes your hair frizzy, add a little water in your palms and emulsify the gel evenly (no lumpies!)
4️⃣ Gels:

I never rake gels. By this point, my clumps are the size I want them to be, and I don’t want to break them down further, so I smooth my gel in. I also tend to avoid gel on my roots, for maximum volume.
Once styled, your hair should look frizz free. If you see any frizz, add more water to smooth it down. In my experience, If there is frizz when styling, there will be frizz after drying too.
