1) Paper jams can be frustrating. Try to fix the issue by resetting the printer.
2) Handpick papers from the output tray, input tray, paper roller, and inside of the printer.
3) Pull the output tray out and clear jammed pieces of paper. Gently insert the tray back to its original position.
4) Check for jammed papers in the main input tray.
5) Open the printer's cartridge access door and make sure that you remove the foreign objects and torn pieces of papers.

I hope this helps someone: To fix the paper jam, lift up the automatic document feeder, as if you were going to change the ink. You'll probably see the paper. Then, lift up on the gray handle at the rear. It will give you access to remove the paper.

This was absolutely useless and it kinda went too fast. Also the jam I have isn't able to be fixed by going through the front, I need to open the back but you didn't even do that.

My HP 7855 is only 4 weeks old and I have already had 3 paper jams and it will not power back on. The above Video was unfortunately not useful at all. Never had this before with my previous printer.
