Lake Tahoe is truly one of the greatest mountain lakes in the world. One of the many beautiful places in majestic California. Coming to this beautiful state, from Toronto Canada, I never get tired of its majesty.

This is a nice, enjoyable channel. The laid back music chosen reasonably well. I enjoy your travels and discover things I did not know. Such as Lake Tahoe being so wooded and lush when it pretty much straddles the border of Nevada deserts - obviously there is very quick change in environment as you go up. Plus the pros and cons of RV travel is all new to me - but interesting. Thanks Lloyd and Mandy - enjoy your travels.

Beautiful Lake Tahoe is 20 minutes from where I live. So many day hiking trails in the entire basin.

Affer following you 2 for maybe 3 yrs it's a blast watching you travel around my backyard > Nor Cal/SF East Bay Region specifically...but spent much time in the Tahoe/Reno area over the yrs.

If heading to the SF area (maybe already here & gone by now) & want a great overview of the entire Bay Area ... check out Mt. Diablo State Park > a few feet under 4K in elevation at the Summit & can drive up to the top as well....think the camper will be ok > lots of trails & things to see...caves, etc & Bear would enjoy it as well.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful. It does have waves, it’s so huge. Too bad you didn’t get to go swimming.

Hello from CA. Love Tahoe. How's the traffic? The beauty of trees is so amazing. Curious is rv expensive to buy, now thinking of renting one & heading up north and getting out of this inferno.Go coast!

I flew over Lake Tahoe with a A Star helicopter a couple of years ago, it was so beautiful. I was managing a light helicopter on a fire assignment and moved from Eureka CA to Arizona. It was a long flight.

If you head back to Emerald Bay towards hwy 80 stop at Chambers Landing for a Rum punch it's the best and you have to see West Shore and North Shore. Meeks Bay for camping is very nice. Some very old casinos but super beautiful

Early.

South Shore and/or West Shore in the pre-dawn. Forget about the restaurants and the rides and the tourist things... you'll have all day to stand in crowded lines for those things. Tahoe is a place you want to come to see the Lake at sunrise or sunset.

Imagine a pure and clear jewel set deep inside of a hollow at the top of the world... if you could see it only once, you'd want to see it when the light hits. Sunsets are amazing... but the sun rising over the eastern Sierras in winter or summer or fall or spring from the south or western shore... THAT is the experience.

Tahoe is a liquid jewel, and to experience the beauty of any jewel, you must experience the light touching it. Sunrise. Western shore in any season.

Sunsets are beautiful, but they are going to be crowded, and best viewed from the wrong shore. If you want to best experience the jewel, it will be west shore sunrise. You will wake up early and brew some hot cocoa or coffee or tea. You will take a heavy wool blanket out to the best viewing point with that steaming mug of your choice, and you will wait and watch.

Best way is with your most loved one. Both wrapped up under that heavy wool blanket, well before the tourists wake up, when the sky hasn't even hinted at gray and the water is still ink black.

You won't wait long... your mug of hot cocoa will still be steaming when the sky turns steel and the water turns blue-black.

Then everything will turn brilliant bright all the way down to your soul, in a stretched out instant.

Welcome to Tahoe... if you can catch it correct.
