2012 Italian 24hr Ration Module G

Happy New Years Eve!!!!! Today I finally bit the bullet and tried a ration I have avoided mostly just because people hype them up so much. I will say this was not what I was expecting at all. I want to thank Drew at RATIONSandMoRe for providing this and for the help in picking rations he knows I would like.

So today I had the privledge of watching your video. It is interesting how different countries make mre's for their military folks. The breakfast looked real weak to me but the rest of the meals looked good to me. Keep up the good work.

People mostly expect too much out of italian rations then end up disappointed, you had good attitude towards it. I like the packing, best looking ration.

The breakfast is light and full of Sugar to Jump start you in the Morning, since we then eat Lunch Pretty early during the day (12 o'clock, 13 at worst)

Glad you finally took the plunge and tried one of these. Breakfast looks great. Good to see breakfast survived at least. Lunch looks good, yes it is surprising that there is that much dust on the cans. Yeah but vienna sausage is better to me than the squid in ink. LOL I love that the never been fed dog. Isn't that any dog when it comes to you eating food? Hi Oscar.at least the Olives are not that bad, however they are much stronger in flavor if you heat them so good choice to not heat the rice salad. Well at least everything in the MRE was edible and you didn't get the squid in ink. Thanks for the great review.

This reminds me of the French ration.. looks good but underwhelming and falls short. The stove makes up for it though lol

Aussie rations note on the info sheet that heat may discolour the condensed milk, but it is still fit to eat.

Everytime I think about spending $100 on an Italian ration, I watch a review and save myself some money. I just can't see spending that kind of money on those.

Awesome.  All sides, drinks, meals and extras looked good. Like yourself, I would be glad of the fact, that I had not received the squid in it's own ink.  That would be one of the few items, that I think,   I would have difficulty with.  Sorry the meal was so bland.  We enjoyed the review however.  Peace, John.

I am sad to say the Italian rations are pretty boring. I had high hopes being italian myself. But was real disappointed. The stove, condensed milk and coffee were the best parts of the ration. For the price they are asking for these here in the USA they are not worth it. Thanks Shawker for taking the time to make the video.

maybe you will get one in better condition next time, I wonder if using the salt on the rice would have helped

Lot of food, guess it would keep you going for a day. The rice salad didn't look to appetizing. Well done review.
