I built the Meng kit just after it came out. Nice kit but well over twice the price of this Zvezda one.
Some of the earlier Zvezda stuff is OK, just look at the reviews before buying though.
Try their Panther D kit no.3678. Superb kit, link 'n length tracks, no PE though, just that plastic mesh but still good enough.
Cheapest I found was amazon.co.uk - £21.50 free delivery.
Really looking forward to seeing what you and John can achieve with this great kit. My money is on John finishing first though!!!

I have a couple of Zvezda kits. I love them. Very nice models. I saw Johns Version earlier today. I personally think that he is an alien android. A modeling machine. Still, Glad you like the kit, and you may not be an android, but you are closest thing to it a human can be. LOL!!! It's looking good Sim...I'm glad you two are doing different paint. I've mentioned to John more than once that I won't touch old Zvezda with a barge pole, but their new stuff is absolutely wonderful, not only in detail and quality but in price. I agree with you completely, that Terminator is awesome!

Looks like a very good kit Sim and it seems that it is going together very well. Both you and John are both singing the praises for this kit and at £16 you just can't go wrong. Best of luck finishing it off and we will have to see who finishes first, you or John??
