Halki Town or Imborios is the harbor and the only village of Halki (Chalki). Built around a secluded bay, it is a natural harbor with crystal clear waters. It was founded between 1850 and 1870, when the pirate raids stopped. The large two-storey neoclassical houses and smaller homes mixed with classical elements, are all facing the sea and most of them have gabled roofs.
