I love them all but I think the most creepiest goes to Blake or Yang, Blake because she literally turns you into petals, and Yang because it looks like she completely evaporates you..theres nothing left...

We got names for Team RWBY's Astral Finishers:
Ruby: Crescent Slash
Weiss: White Knight
Blake: Shadow Stab
Yang: I Burn

Ruby's finisher felt empty. The actual killing blow was good, but the moments proceeding up to it definitely could have used some more action. Weiss's wasn;t bad, but the time on the train when she bounced off glyphs slamming Bane-saw to pieces would have worked better. Blake's felt ike it should have been Adam's which doesn;t fit at ALL considering she's supposed to be distancing herself from him, and Yang's... Yang's was okay. Her's was fine.

Is it just me or their finishes all look like the finishes in their trailer. Like Weiss' s attack against the Knight, the beheaded wolf with Ruby, the colors with the petals and attacks by Blake and the punch on the floor by Yang. Or am I stupid ?

ArcSys did the most badass renditions of these characters. Sprite work is magical

I dunno what it is, but when the Astral finishes for ruby, the music cutting out followed by the music stopping, its so spooky.

Moments from show that would have been better astral finishers.

Ruby: Trailer when she uses super speed to attack and overpower the wolves rapidly. Food fight when she uses super speed to kind of vacuum everyone up and slam them into a wall.

Weiss: season 2 finale on the train when she was kinda jumping all over the place fighting the jacked dude with the saw.

Blake: season 2 finale she gets like a special ammo pack that allows her to use like diff elements with her shadow clones (i know thats not what they're called)

Yang: Tbh i was fine with hers but like coulda thrown some gauntlet shots in there or something lol..

What with the babies saying how brutal the INSTANT KILL attacks are? That’s probably the point, the attack definitively kills or KOs the opponent.

I think Ruby's is my favourite Astral. Don't ask why but I love it.

I hope we get a Fighting Game with only RWBY characters in it. It would be interesting.

Ruby's is just lazy. No effort was put into making it feel more climatic or cinematic or anything, but I like the reference
Weiss's is... serviceable at best, bland at worst, it feels like it could've just been a distortion
Blake's is, like Weiss's, just OK, nothing special
I like Yang's. It could've used some polish, but I'm a sucker for finishing moves that have the character just go ape shit, and the fog a the end's a good touch
