An Astral Heat is a powerful attack that finished your opponent in a single blow. To execute an Astral Heat, you must have one opponent remaining, have your Resonance Blaze active and have 9 Skill Gauge bars. Here are all the Astral Finishes in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. I appreciate the fact that Aegis and Hyde appear exhausted after their Astrals. It makes sense that such a powerful attack would really take it out of you.

Fun fact - Susano'o, Elizabeth, and Hilda hold the unique distinction of having an Astral Heat that deals damage that hits the damage cap (99, 999).


Given that the three of them are a literal God, a Velvet Room Attendant (i.e. the most powerful foe you'll face in a Persona game), and the literal most powerful entity in their home series respectively, it makes sense.

Aside from a few exceptions i like how the amount of damage is actually reminiscent of canon power. Susanoo and elizabeth do 99, 999 damage, platinum does the least out of the blazblues, teddie does the least in the investigation team i think. There are some outliars but the theme remains true
