Live Partition Mobility (LPM) with Shared Storage Pool SSP3

A quick demo of the Live Partition Mobility feature which lets you jump a Virtual Machine (LPAR) between machines with the operating system (AIX in this case) and applications running. SSP means you are using virtual SCSI to the disk space and if you are using virtual Networking (very common as it save so much money in buying less network) then your "pure virtual" VM/LPAR is good to go. This means most people running SSP are already LPM ready and you don't need to re-Zone the LUNs to the target machine as they are already zoned - this is done just once when the VIOS was added to the SSP cluster. IMHO every Power user should be using LPM to allow load leveling across the computer room, migration to other computer rooms, evacuation for upgrading or adding new firmware plus making use of new machines the day they arrive.
