i've always had my concerns about this trend. ok, the main face was given away to the military, betrayed by the dad (more often) and surely revenge is on the table by the time they get strong enough to come back. but just because they suffered as a kid, doesn't mean another has to pay, one that wasn't responsible at all for their tough life. no matter, the dad shouldn't pay by suffering just in a psychological way (for having the one kid he seems to actually love been taken away), if anything, he would suffer even worse by going through the exact same sh*t as the main face, older and frail as he is by the time the main face comes back home. get a taste of his own medicine you know? as for his youngest kid, it would grow up with healthier family figures and ones who won't send it away to suffer just because it's undesired in the household

then again this is gacha and anything related to it has a lot of questionable trends and 'logic'
