Hopefully it was a post-sporterized one, that was given a new life as this. Looks lit

This gun lived through at least 3 wars but finally died after being retired to the civilian world. RIP Mosin

If you were on fire, i'd pull out a stick and marshmallows
Mosin must be wood, glorious 5 rounds of stop kraut

Good thing you've got that foregrip to compensate for those quick aggressive follow up shots
deebonglord
On a hex receiver rifle too. This is like 10 years purgatory.
Bigskeeter
Damn it was a pre 31 with a hexagonal receiver too 😢

its like looking at an elderly former- spetsnaz dude on life support
trapnexus
Every KGB agent in that area is probably on your trail now

A man named Sergei is having convulsions and foaming at the mouth over this lol

Funny how all of you are so quick to jump in and cry about it being "ruined" when it most likely was already ruined by neglect or damage so they took what was usable and gave it new life. I do agree it would be bad to take a perfectly good historically valuable weapon and do this to it for fun.

I'm just glad it's a chassis and not a hacksaw job on an original wooden stock.
old-worldghost
That poor piece of history. 118 years old and trapped in the body of a sped.
Joe-mygo
There’s a special place in hell for people who do this to historical firearms

Why... I could have lived another 20 years without seeing

I mean kudos to you for making this, still cant beat the wooden finish on a Mosin. We need a company to make some modern versions same design just new ones to put out in the market. Would love to shoot one

Idk about wasting an EOTECH on 54R but this seems like a great way to give a sporterized gun a new life

I love archangel furniture... beautiful stuff. And when you're through hooning around with it... you can put the OG wood furniture back on... you can do that too.
