Galataport is on the European side of Istanbul, about 5 minutes walk from Tophane tram station. Its been redeveloped into the new cruise ship terminal complex including Karaköy. Although its called Galataport its about 20 minutes walk from the Galata Tower area. The Bosphorus waterfront walk is absolutely beautiful and is full of cafes, restaurants and designer shops of all kinds including Alix Avien, Breitling, Leica and even Marks and Spencer! You get the picture. It's a must visit place in Istanbul.
