The scariest part is supposedly most of the screams were men still trapped on the boat. A survivor said he could never go to another sports event, because the sounds of men cheering sounded too similar.

The lighting is great! It must have been truly terrifying to witness this in real life in almost complete darkness in the middle of the freezing ocean...

the screaming getting suddenly louder when the power goes out then quieter as it slips beneath the waves is terrifying

I finally understand why people didn’t see it splitting in half. It’s almost impossible to tell what’s going on.

Imagine sitting in a lifeboat in a freezing cold ocean and all of a sudden the power goes out the screaming gets louder and then all of a sudden you here a big giant boom and sparks start flying out of the ship the lights turn to a dim red color and then you realize that the ship has just split in half. Truly terrifying.

Pretty sure there wouldn’t been a lot more echo. Remember it was a calm night, meaning sound would would travel pretty far. But the lighting is spot on.

The darkness is accurate and this overall looks great! Something to note though is that when titanic was sinking, due to the ship loosing power the lights would’ve appeared a red color

Finally a video with accurate lighting.

The scariest thing is, it would have been much darker. You wouldnt have been able to see your hand in front of you and once the ships lights went out it would have been pitch black

Now that’s just terrifying, a massive ship sinking in the middle of the ocean with the darkness surrounding it with only the lights from the ship itself and the stars not being bright enough, and then the power goes out and it’s pitch black all around, finally a loud noise erupts from the ship it has split in half with the bow fully submerged in water and the stern still surfaced but it slowly sinks into the water, never to be seen for decades until 1985.

The sounds of the ship breaking is a bit quiet but still pretty good

This is absolutely terrifying once the lights went out and you couldn’t see anything. It’s like a nightmare.

this is one of the most distressing videos i've seen in a long, long time

This is why it was only discovered that the ship had broken in two when Robert Ballard found the wreckage in 1985. Visibility was terrible. It was a new moon so the moon didn't give any light. After the lights went out, it was practically total darkness. Just the twinkling stars...

The actual way and scenario when the Titanic sank is far more terrifying and completely eerie than what we saw portrayed in the movie.

After the funnels fell, they exposed these shafts that led directly to the boiler room which would suck people in due to rapidly filling with water. Imagine being on the surface and suddenly being near the bottom of that flooded death trap.

The darkness bothers me because someone said it was so pitch dark you couldn't even see your arms if you raise them forward in front of your chest

For the visual of the Titanic after break-up, I think its great. The ship was surely almost totaly pitch black.

For the break up, there are some testimonies that claims that they heard very loud noises like beams snaping from inside the ships minutes before the light went off. It probably means that the boat structure started to fail from the inside slowly before completly broke in half. This process could have taken a couple of minutes.

Finaly, for the lighting, other testimonies stated that at some point during the sinking, the lights started to dim due to the power that was slowly but surely decreasing (also resulting in Titanic wireless system range to drasticly decrease overtime). It means that the light could not be that bright and that white at this stage. The lights would probably looks more orange and smooth like a sunset lighting, not to mention that the Titanic lighting when everything was fine was not white at all. It was also orange to give a chill and relaxing vibe for the passengers.

These are all points that I think it can upgrade the fidelity of the event that occur that fatefull night. But overall, your animation skills is awesome and I couldnt do this myself. Good job !
