I think it's fair to state that the "rock sirloin" from Majora's Mask predated the "rock roast" from BOTW, with an almost exact same model. Not trying to be overly technical, I just feel that BOTW already gets enough credit.

"Sand fish" might be an idea coming from spirit tracks. In this game, in the desert section, there are sand sharks as regular enemies attacking your train

So looking at both trailers (again), something to note is that out of everyone who gets swallowed by the rift Link is the only one who doesn't get greyed out when he is fully submerged.

Unironically, expansion on existing maps is something I have craved in Zelda for a long time now. Ever since I first played Ocarina of Time I have been fascinated by what might be beyond the cliffs that circle the world. Love to see this dream finally come true

regarding the combat mechanism. people need to realize Zelda has the triforce of Wisdom. This is more fitting than using a sword, etc.

I think that the main quest named “Mysterious Rifts” has already been completed by the player, because it looks gray and probably not selectable.

Maybe an introduction main quest at the start of the game like the Great Plateau main quest ?

Also, the knights jumping in to save the King also deserve applause.

This already feels like one of the most 'Zelda' Zelda games. Character designs from OoT, art style of LA (Remake), map similar to ALttP and play style from BoTW/ToTK. I'm really excited for this one!

22:07 When Zelda first learns Bind, Tri only has three Echo triangles, suggesting that this may happen very early in the game. Then again, it's possible that the trailer is showing us slightly different footage than we'll see in actual gameplay, just to prevent us from predicting how long it will take to learn Bind.

That Sea Zora domain looks a lot like Majoras Mask's!!! Same Fishtail sticking out of the sea, off the coast, corals and pools inside!!! Ahhhh I'm obsessed with the Majora inspiration in this game with the Deku returning, business scrubs, etc!!!

The blue-haired person at 25:22 who sinks into the rift looks very similar to the figure we saw in the sheikah (robbie-like) workshop in the first trailer. Since the clip looks to be early-game and in the robbie clip tri is present, maybe this person was rescued and brought back from the rift??
