When the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley, north London, celebrated its centenary year in 2010, On-Par Productions were invited to document the cinema's history through the stories of its staff, patrons and local residents. The Cinema Museum was pleased to be able to collaborate with loan of stills from the collection. This was lovely. I can't believe I've lived in north London for ten years and never watched a movie at The Phoenix. Just you wait till this lockdown's over!

Bravo to The Phoenix Cinema and long may it live on to screen those marvelous films not often shown in cineplexes.  And applause to all who support its efforts.  A wonderful video. I enjoyed comments by Mark Kermode, Peter Bayley, Michael Palin and Bill Paterson's narration.  Thank you.
