Показать описание
FANRPAN is implementing under its CSA programme the Strengthening Policy Advocacy and Research Capacity for Enhanced Food Security in East and Southern Africa (SPARC) Project.
The project funded by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is meant to enable the FANRPAN and its partners to undertake systematic and targeted interventions for institutional capacity development.
Institutional capacity development will lay the foundation for the eastern and southern African region to use local capacity to address policy challenges which are hindering sustainable food security and effective management of natural resources and the environment.
The project objective (purpose) is to strengthen the capacities, coordinate and facilitate FANR policy research, analysis and advocacy, and; to strengthen and effectively utilize state and non-state actors capacities to participate in policy processes.
