Red Hat OpenStack Platform: Adding an External Network

In this video, I show how to add an external network to your Red Hat OpenStack Platform environment. The network, once added, can be used to add Floating IPs to instances inside of your OpenStack projects. External networks can be added only by administrator users and only via the admin section in Horizon. This video shows this task being accomplished via the OpenStack dashboard (Horizon), but can also be accomplished via CLI or API calls.
