The in case of emergency page is a good idea, but as a paramedic, may I suggest one-up? Make this page detachable somehow, or write it on an index card or similar, and place it in a marked envelope. Many people put this info on their refrigerator for easy access, and in case of a medical emergency, all you have to do is give medics the card with the person’s medical info on it. This way we don’t have to spend time on the scene writing stuff down when we can be spending that time treating the patient and/or getting on the way to the hospital.

I’m 80 and I just started my first Bullet Journal in September of this year. Thank you for so many tips. A page I really liked was one I called “Monthly Memories”. I also like one I made called “Random Things to Remember”. Other favorites was my “Christmas Gift List Ideas” and Inspirational Poems or writings. I plan on adding a page for a family tree of hearts to indicate if I’ve made a meaningful connection with a loved one during a month, for example.

The most useful thing I set up, that isn't in my monthly spread, is a car log. It's a recording of everything I need to remember about my car. So it has things like when I got an oil change, when my tires were last rotated, when I had to get a new car battery, how long my warranties are, etc.

I planned on adding a "pain tracker" on my next bujo. I always have random pain in knee, wrist, back, etc, and I thought it could be a great idea to track them to help my doctor figure things out

I cannot tell you a) how much I love your videos and b) the sound of your voice is so soothing and actually makes my setups less stressful and way more relaxing. I hope you have a great holiday Jess. Thank you for your beautiful ideas and videos.

In 2022 I'm dedicating a page or two titled WHEN? It will have two columns and categories. Last time we each had dental appointments, physicals, etc., home maintenance (e.g., furnace serviced), and car maintenance. The left hand column will have the last time and the right hand column will have the date it should be scheduled. This way I don't have to flip through the whole planner to find them.

Well well well, I see from the "holidays" spread that Prosecco Day is on my birthday. I suppose I'd better do the decent thing and pay homage to that from now on.

The detachable yearly tracker is a great idea. What I do when starting a new journal is include only six months of everything: future log, birthdays, holidays, trackers, etc. This way I don't have to go back to the first half of the year journal to follow up with these items. Your videos are always so full of ideas! Thanks, Jess.

I have a reading log pasted inside the front cover of my bujo set up to look like those old library cards (the ones found in the books) that I list out what books I'm reading, who they're by, and when I started and finished the book. Each of the cards represents one month and, at the end of the month, I move the card to the corresponding monthly spread.
I did it this way because, while I love a good reading challenge, sometimes I just want a simple log for any given month.

I am starting to prep my pages for a new 2022 journal. I am doing a menopause tracker. Two pages, all 12 months, 4 symptoms - mood, insomnia, hot flashes and if I have a period. It will be useful for my medical professionals at future visits. I am also doing a mind map. Again, a 2 page spread. A bubble in the middle with "Me" in it. Then 4 topics coming out like spokes on a wheel. Monthly, I'll add to those topics, color-coding the months. So health, home, finances, and work related.

These were some great ideas! I've been thinking about experimenting with some removeable or flip-out pieces in my 2022 journal.

My most out-of-the-box spread that I use, regularly in fact, is one that I have never seen anyone else include - what I call my "this to that" spread. I moved from the US abroad a few years back. So it's just a page of conversions, for temperatures, weights, sizes, even recipes. I also include a tracker for the exchange rate between my two major currencies - USD and my local one, a stat I find both entertaining and important.

Great ideas Jashi! Thanks. In all my Bullet Journals I have Order Tracker Spreads. This helps me keep track of what I have received and what is coming. My Order Tracker: column 1, Date Ordered/Date Received; col 2, Retailer/Order #; col 3, Item(s)/Price; col 4, payment method. My Order Tracker has come in handy many times. No need to hunt for emails. When I order anything online or by phone, I record the info in my Order Tracker. It’s very handy!

What I love about this video is that it reminds me that bullet journaling can be visually appealing without being over-the-top flashy while also helping you to be productive (really, the main goal behind a planner). So many of the bullet journals out there are stunning! But that's the problem. I feel overwhelmed and begin to compare the spreads I create to pages I see online, and I feel like my work isn't good enough. But these layouts are a huge reminder that my journal can still look good yet take a minimalist approach (Like Miss JashiiCorrin's journal) while staying true to the journal's very reason for existing: helping me to be productive. Thank you for a wonderful video. New subscriber!

I have a several months long pain tracker, but it's more detailed than that. I track ovary pain, migraines, ovarian cysts bursting, and it also has period tracking and 'fun times' tracking. It's helpful to see it all on one tracker to determine if there's any patterns. I find it so useful, even if the thing I'm tracking absolutely sucks. I also have a spread for things to put in my book of shadows and one from when my husband and I went through a rough patch, the commitments we made to each other to make improvements in our relationship and give ourselves the best shot possible.

I really enjoy my quotes page as it is not just one quote but a repository for all the wisdom I pick up during the life of the journal. I'll usually start the next journal's quote page with one or two that particularly loved from the recently completed journal. TY for this helpful video.

I use my open page with 12 mini boxes for my monthly themes. So for example if my July is all avocado paintings etc, the mini July box will have a tiny avocado. It’s just a fun way to see all my themes in one place
