Wreck diving in Norway: DS Tyrifjord, Askvoll

On a calm day we went in our small red rubber boat to Askvoll to dive the wreck of Tyrifjord.

The steam ship Tyrifjord was damaged in the same attack as DS Lynx, but could be towed to Askvoll where it sank later. While the stern with its impressive helm is still intact, the bow section is completely destroyed.

Maximum Depth at this wreck was 35m, as always we dived with our JJ-CCR.
