ODU Internships: Meet Sara

Communications student Sara, came to Old Dominion because of its close proximity to television news stations and other job opportunities. Sara is a leader on campus, active with the Public Relations Student Society of America and Blue Key Honor Society. She completed internships at 13 News Now and the Defense Logistics Agency and has accepted an internship with the Defense Intelligence Agency as a media production intern. Sara’s goals include continuing her education in Public Affairs and Mass Media Journalism and creating a non-profit mentor program to help inner-city girls develop skills they need to achieve their goals. Sara attributes ODU to opening doors to a successful future.
