Excellent aikido. These kids have a great Tai Sabaki and are all practicing so diligently, great Zanshin. Respect for these teachers who done such a great job. I wonder what happened to them after all these years. Grown up and still doing aikido?

Really sad to read some of the awful, uninformed comments. The kids are having fun, treating each other respectfully and learning techniques designed to not hurt an opponent.

watched the video and read the comments. I don't disagree with any of the comments because they are all correct. The reason is we all have truth and sometimes one persons truth isn't the same as anothers'. Watching I can see how you would say negative things and also say all the positive as well. It isn't the video that the positive or negative comments are representing, it is the mind and soul of those making the comments. I love Aikido and have been training it for 15 years now and I want to say if these kids are enjoying themselves then bravo. If these kids parents (who flip the bill) feel they are getting value then again bravo. being negative only shows the emptiness within yourself as the positive shows the fullness. Some of us need to remember that the martial arts is not just about combat and fighting. There are many other reasons for such training. Also if you can't say something nice then maybe nothing should be said, especially to young impressionable children. It takes a very special person to try to tear down a young child.

I like aikido because well I do it and I'm 11 and I guess I just have different techniques and I use goe that is a stick to practice fighting with sticks.

What a great video. Just thinking how to start my 4 and a half year old son on the aikido journey. You've given me some great ideas...A great song to put your video to...cheers and good luck

I do aikido and I have been doing it for 3 years and my training is more intense and we actually learn how to defend real attacks and make the techniques work I get these kids are young but there foot work for some of these techniques are so far off the correct foot work and the way they are doing these techniques it wouldn't help them in a real life situation
