I find these different types of helmet nets very interesting! These British style helmet nets were very common among US soldiers during WWII, so I’m happy to have one in my collection!

Best letter opener ever.

As for helmet nets, I personally like 1 and 2 due to having smaller gaps

My 10-year-old son went to London, England and Normandy, for 10 days with an organization called Bridge to History, Operation Meatball. He discovered your channel is loves it. Thank you for keeping history alive.

For anyone that doesn't wanna watch a whole another video...The nets reduce metal glare and reduce visibility!!! You can always use it to add camo such as grass, leaves and brush to reduce visibility and help hide you from snipers and other enemies.

I like net style 2 the most, but 3 and 4 is probably the best, as it's easy to put wraps of fabric, leafs and grass on there.

Very cool dude! Was surprised to see you bayonet the package open! It's cool that a young person has a desire to learn this stuff, and you've informed me a lot. You have my subscription

The amount of bodies that are still in the ground today from ww2 and ww1 is crazy

Definitely 4. Just because it’s the most iconic net

During my service time in the Dutch army in the 1980’s we had the same British nets on our helmets. Also with a big rubber band (cut from a old inner tube) which could better hold branches for camo. We stuck smallers stuff in the net.

I’ve never cared about nets and gear as much as I have when this gorgeous man is explaining them

the purpose for helmet nets is because it is better for blending in and from the suns reflection from the helmet

Style 2 has to be my favorite, I like it not really being flat on the helmet and the holes are small.
