Great tutorial! This was literally exactly what I needed to implement, pattern-wise. I seem to be getting a gateway timeout when uploading the image... I tried extending the timeout from the client, but it seems like it might be the backend...? It's a 504 gateway timeout.

Great work..but if we upload 100 images then it's all store in images folder which makes our back-end slower...why we cannot store image file in direct database

Hi Jon, I used your code but expanded the form to include an image and date input. However, this seems to give me errors when using type: number or type: date. It only seems to work with string. Is there something I'm missing here?
