The hersheys stuff is in the game because the Soaked Expansion Pack was made in collaboration with Hershey Park. You can recreate some of the rides from Hershey Park

I spent so much time as a kid designing roller coasters just to sit and ride them with the first person view. So many fond memories from seeing you do that and the intro music instantly brought me back to childhood sitting in my dads office on his laptop playing this.

A cool feature in RCT3 was that you could import rollercoasters (custom and pre-made) from RCT1 and 2 if you had those games installed.
Another feature I loved was that you could make your own groups of guests and have the game notify you when they would visit the park and the rides. If you placed a photo spots in your park, they would take family / group pictures and the photo would be saved on your PC.

It was fun to look over the guests once in a while to see the interactions between them, since they weren't as mindless as in the previous games / other strategy games of that time, going from attraction to attraction etc. but had some group behaviors and needs, a bit of life simulation built into their AI such as when a group goes on a ride but one decides not to and simply watching the ones on the ride and wave at them, parents scolding their children for misbehavior and lovers holding hands when wondering the park and kissing every now and then. This simulation behavior is why some don't like RCT3 as much as the first two games.

Awesome! Highly considering getting this game and diving back into my childhood imagination with more skill and maybe building something really cool. As you found, it's a very deeply customizable game with endless possibilities. Not sure if you've played much since this, but a few FYIs: the waterslides should have a "special track piece" that is the end of the slide, so that when you want it to end you just put that. Also, the "twister coaster" model can go so insanely high that you have to cross the entire park and turn around once or twice using the launched lift hill in order to reach its maximum height! And beyond that, there is a height cheat (among others) that lets you build literally any attraction as high as you want. And another fun fact about the Hershey collaboration that another commenter mentioned, there's a "Hershey Stormrunner" coaster model that includes unique track pieces that match the elements on the actual Hershey Park coaster! And no other coaster has those pieces.

Just rebought it today after going to six flags and reliving some nostalgia; gotta go back through the tutorials cause it’s been a while but I’m so hyped to play it again over the summer
