I did this a few weeks ago without the oranges and I thought the same thing as you and you were right, it works really well because of how tart they are

I just made one of these after seeing your videos since my grocery store had a 12oz bag for 99c. I cut them in half so it would work quicker. Started on the 8th and only have about half an inch of sugar undissolved in the bottom. Cant wait to try it!!

For quicker extraction of the juice and flavour, freeze the feuit and allow it to thaw. The ice crystals break the cell walls. 😊
