SFC needs to be part of an offer. not just the offer

My SFC agency is already having 2 clients right now in the first month….

As a stand-alone, maybe. An SFC + value add like appointment setting, community engagement, etc. are far from dead

Guys, he’s talking about SFC as an isolated service.

If you ONLY offer SFC, you’re doomed.

If you use SFC to set appointments or something, it’s different. Then, it’s viable.

If you’re only offering editing services than you are doomed. However, scripting, filming and all that is viable

Funny to hear this because I am currently starting one and I am getting a ton of positive replies.

From your perspective you’re right, because you see everyone adding the same captions and same edits to look like Hormozi’s shorts. I run a SFC agency and have a completely different style that gets my clients real results because when people see their content it’s actually different. Also I add a consulting aspect to my offer on how they can script their vids out better and how to speak to their target audience in their vids. But if you guy into starting a SFC agency to just add the same edits as everyone, yes, you are a commodity

I enjoyed the analysis. So it came to my mind an agency that is about the medium, format, technique way might get into difficulties by time but an agency that promise a growth in followers, etc ( and even might choose short form for that, like media scaling) is better.

What got my attention was the analysis you made about the skill level, about competing challenge, and so on... I wonder to be able to do these analysis we should study or read more in what field of subject? thanks

I agree, but in a way disagree, I'll try explain why. I started my first agency, a content agency, 5 months ago and have scaled it to $9600pm. My agency mostly creates short-form content for my clients, that really is the bulk of the service delivery. However, this is not the focus in my offer. We go way further for our clients and offer support in multiple ways in their journey to growing an online audience - this is what I spend more time talking about to potential clients. Also, spending a lot of time setting the expectation that there essentially can't be any expectations is really important, the clients I sign have to show understanding that it's unpredictable, it's a long game and they're in it for as long as their business is around. So yeah, it's going to be harder to find people who are actually going to commit to something like that, but as a newbie to entrepreneurship, I've managed to gain 1 client each month (most of which on 12 month contracts) and closed 2 more this month, with barely any outreach, no ads, no content, just networking.

If you are just DMing creators and brands channels, offering only short-form content, you should probably change your offer.

But hey, I'm new to this and maybe my business will die in a year aha. Let me know your thoughts!

I disagree

Most short-form agency make crap sfc that doesn't perform weel, so you could come in and actually make good edits.

That's how you stand out and thrive in my opinion.

Would this apply to Influencer marketing and running ads on a short form platform like TikTok

If AI or any human can replace your SFC services, you're few months away from being broke.

Charlie, I am sending out looms. Although my email deliverability is 99% but no one is actually seeing the looms. When I send normal emails just like those, without loom - I tend to get at least some replies 2-5%. But with looms, no one is even opening. Tried sending to other addresses with the same email, and delivers in inbox.

What do you think is the problem?
