OPEC and Russia vote to slash oil output by 2 million barrels per day, thus dealing a major blow to U.S President Joe Biden amid Russia-Ukraine conflict. The Biden administration has now hit back, calling the move short-sighted. The White House has expressed disappointment over the announcement of a cut in oil production quotas by Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies. If US wants to safe guard it’s economy and increase rate of interest which has lead to devaluation of world currencies
Then opec plus should increase its rates accordingly
This is exemplary for all the nations to follow and increase their rates to match the devaluation of their corresponding currencies
